WHEREAS, the Town Supervisor is authorized to appoint a Deputy Town Supervisor; and WHEREAS, Dr. Richard Thurston, Supervisor of the Town of Wappinger, has elected to appoint Robert Johnston as his Deputy Town Supervisor. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: 1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted herein. 2. The Town Board acknowledges the appointment of Robert Johnston as Deputy Town Supervisor by Dr. Richard Thurston, Supervisor of the Town of Wappinger effective January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2019. The Town Board hereby confirms the salary of the Deputy Town Supervisor as set forth in the 2018 adopted budget which is to be paid in 52 weekly installments retroactive to and commencing on January 1, 2018.
