Authorize the Town Supervisor to Solicit Requests For Proposals (RFP'S) for Labor And
Employment Counsel Services
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on January
22, 2018.
The meeting was called to order by Richard Thurston, Town Supervisor, and upon roll

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Kuzmicz and seconded by
Councilman Beale.
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to have external Labor And Employment Counsel
Services for such legal advice and services as may be required for representing and defending the
Town of Wappinger for all matters of Personnel and Labor Relations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set
forth and adopted herein.
2. The Town Board desires to have and hereby authorizes the Town Supervisor, Dr.
Richard Thurston, to solicit Requests For Proposals (RFP'S) for Labor And Employment
Counsel Services.
3. The Town Supervisor is also authorized to publish a written Request For
Proposal, in the Poughkeepsie Journal and the Southern Dutchess News, at least ten days in
advance of the time for submission of such proposals.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
