2018-852018-85 Resolution Authorizing Supervisor To Sign Agreement With Mid -Hudson Sikh Cultural Society, Inc. For Extension Of Special Districts At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on April 9, 2018. WHEREAS, the MID -HUDSON SIKH CULTURAL SOCIETY, INC. ("Society") is the owner of certain real property located in the Town of Wappinger at the intersection of All Angels Hill Road and Old Hopewell Road ("Society Parcel") and WHEREAS, the Society submitted Petitions to the Town pursuant to Article 12 of the Town Law requesting an extension of the United Wappinger Water District and the United Wappinger Sewer District to provide water and sanitary sewer service to the Society Parcel; and WHEREAS, the Town and the Society have negotiated and Agreement which sets forth the procedures and amounts due for the proceedings to extend the Special Districts; and WHEREAS, the Town Board after due deliberation has reviewed the Agreement and determined that it is in the best interest of the Town to enter into said agreement; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: 1. The Town Board hereby accepts the terms and conditions set forth and contained in the above- mentioned Agreement regarding the extension of special districts, a copy of which is attached hereto, The Town of Wappinger hereby approves the Agreement, in substantially the form annexed hereto and authorizes and directs the Supervisor Richard Thurston to execute the Agreement by and on behalf of the Town of Wappinger. The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows: RESULT: ADOPTED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: William H.
