The descriptions have been approved by Jay Paggi. I further understand that the Highway Superintendent has approved this road for acceptance, but by copy of this memo to the Highway Superintendent I am ..requesting that he notify you immediately if the road is not ready to be�ccepted. The deeds and supporting documents are in satisfactory form for recording and the Town has been further provided with a title policy certifying title. A copy of that title policy is enclosed. If you find everything is in order, you may submit the matter to the Town Board for a resolution accepting the road and related easements. Upon such confirmation of acceptance, kindly transmit the enclosed original deeds, Capital Gains Tax Affidavits/Credit Line Mortgage Certificate and Equalization & Assessment form to the Dutchess County Clerk's Office for recording. For your convenience, a cover letter, check for recording fees and a stamped envelope is enclosed. Y. 12590 December 18, 1988 Irene Pains Town Supervisor Town Planning Board Dear Mrs . Paino: We the residents of Sabia Drive, Wappinger Falls N. Y. 12590 would like to bring to your attention of a problem that exists . For the past few years most of us have been having problems with our mail . The problems being , Late delivery of dated material, Missing expected mail, Opened mail, Missing checks and bills, and Damaged mailings and Magazines . Constantly calling the Postmaster has not resolved this matter . The problems started when Mr . McClusky decided our street name formerly "Daniel Sabia Drive" was too long and He shortened it to "Sabia Drive" . The confusion comes from the fact there is a Street named"Sabra Lane" not far from us and that most of our mailings go there first . After being in contact with some of the residents on "Sabra Lane" It has been determined that this is definitely most of our problem and even they are tired of receiving the mail from "Sabia Drive" . Also please note that any mail sent under our old street name has no problem getting to us but the post office has said we can no longer use that name . Whereas, our schedules did not permit a joint inspection with your department, I sent John Bennett who inspected the site relative to our inspection letter of September 12, 1985 (copy attached). We would advise as follows relative to said items for your further handling: 1. Backfill - Appears satisfactory. 2. Tree - Completed. 3. Clean/Flush - Not Completed. 4. Mitchell - O'Toole driveways - Still a problem with ponding water. 5. Pavement low spot - Still a problem. 6. Storm drain outfall - Must locate and expose intermediate catch basin and then clean/flush same. In the field, visual inspection only, the storm drain outfall piping did not appear to be located in the drainage easement. If so, this would obviously be a problem for the Town. We suggest that the easement by field staked by the project surveyor and the CMP piping located and spotted with a metal detector to determine its location within the easement. The outfall piping also requires the installation of an .end section.
