Beale Mover Q ❑ ❑ ❑ ❑ Tabled Angela Bettina Voter Q ❑ ❑ ❑ ❑ Withdrawn Robert Johnston Voter Q ❑ ❑ ❑ Michael Kuzmicz Seconder Q ❑ ❑ ❑ WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger Highway Garage is in need of replacement; and WHEREAS, over the decades when the Highway Garage was in use, petroleum and other chemicals were stored on the site; and WHEREAS, prior to commencement of detailed design of a Highway Garage, it is prudent for the Town to conduct and environmental site assessment of the property determine if any contamination is present; and WHEREAS, WCD Group, LLC has the professional knowledge to conduct the environmental site assessment; and WHEREAS, WCD Group, LLC has provided a letter of engagement with a description of services to be performed which meets the needs of the Town of Wappinger; and WHEREAS, the transfer of funds between budgetary appropriation lines is required to pay for the environmental study; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1. The Town Board hereby authorizes the Supervisor to sign the engagement letter with WCD Group, LLC in substantially the form attached hereto at a cost of $20,020. 2. The Supervisor is directed to vouchers for payment upon receipt of the study in accordance with the Procurement Policy. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
