Resolution Authorizing Change Order No. 1 For The Emergency Services Building Renovation
Project HVAC Construction Contract No. 17-003H - (Gray/Beale)
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New
York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on July 23, 2018.

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Beale and seconded by Councilman
Kuzmicz.
WHEREAS, by Resolution 2017-165 adopted by the Town Board on October 10, 2017, the
Town Board awarded a bid to DJ Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. (HVAC Construction Contract) in
the amount of $779,130.00 for renovations to be made to the Emergency Services Building; and
WHEREAS, the Engineers to the Town, Morris Associates Engineering & Surveying
Consultants, PLLC, by email dated July 13, 2018, have approved Change Order No. 1, a copy of which
is attached hereto, resulting in a new contract price of $768,999.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and
adopted herein.
The Town Board hereby approves Change Order No. 1, which decreases the total contract price by the
amount of $10,131.00, resulting in a new reduced contract price of $768,999.00, a copy of which
Change Order is attached hereto.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
