Resolution Authorizing Transfer Of Funds For Purchase Of Tractor Mounted Stump Grinder -

At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New
York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on July 23, 2018.

WHEREAS, Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds, Steven Frazier, has advised that his department is in
need of a tractor mounted stump grinder; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has agreed that it is in the best interest of the Town to purchase the tractor
mounted stump grinder; and
WHEREAS, in order to cover the cost of the tractor mounted stump grinder, it will be necessary to
transfer funds between budget lines.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
I. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted
herein.
2. The Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds is hereby authorized to purchase the tractor mounted
stump grinder at a cost not to exceed $2,500.00.
3. The Town Board hereby authorizes the following budget line transfers to cover the cost of the
tractor mounted stump grinder:

Parks Contingency Equipment
Steven Frazier is directed to submit a purchase order for the purchase of the tractor mounted
stump grinder.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
