RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENGINEERING STUDY OF WATER AND SEWER MAIN
INSTALLATION IN MYERS CORNERS AND OLD HOPEWELL ROADS
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New
York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on September 10, 2018.
The meeting was called to order by Richard Thurston, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being

WHEREAS, Dutchess County Department of Public Works is realigning certain portions of
Myers Corners and Old Hopewell Roads; and
WHEREAS, it would be cost effective for the Town of Wappinger to install water and sewer
mains where needed in the right of ways of the two county roads while they are already under
construction; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer to the Town has advised that installation of certain water mains to
create service loops would be helpful for the operation of the United Wappinger Water District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The Town Board of the Town of Wappinger hereby authorizes the Engineers to the Town to
conduct a study of the feasibility and costs associated for the installation of water and sewer mains.
If the projects are feasible, the Engineer to the Town is directed to prepare a separate Map, Plan and
Report for water and sewer improvements that are identified and submit it to the Town Board for its
consideration.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
