2018-2112018-211 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FEASIBILITY STUDY AND COST ANALYSIS FOR REPLACEMENT OF TOWN HALL HVAC SYSTEM At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on September 10, 2018. WHEREAS, the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning ("HVAC") System in Town Hall has been plagued with problems for many years and fails to heat and cool the building properly; and WHEREAS, the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds has advised that the present HVAC system has been repaired in a patchwork manner and can no longer be effectively maintained and must be replaced; and WHEREAS, a separate HVAC system was previously installed in the Town Courtroom and Court Offices and is performing satisfactorily; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1. The Town Board of the Town of Wappinger hereby authorizes the Engineers to the Town to conduct a feasibility study and cost analysis for the replacement of the HVAC system for Town Hall, including the addition of climate control for the hallways. 2. The Engineer to the Town is directed to prepare a report for the Town Board setting forth feasible options for replacement of the Town Hall HVAC system.
