Resolution Authorizing Transfer Of Funds For Purchase Of Trailer
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on December 10, 2018.

WHEREAS, Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds, Steven Frazier, has advised that his department needs a
trailer for transporting the department's equipment; and
WHEREAS, the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds identified a trailer which fits the needs of the Department
manufactured by Kaufman Trailers; and
WHEREAS, the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds attempted to solicit quotes from other vendors, however
no other vendor had a comparable product; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has agreed that it is in the best interest of the Town to purchase the trailer; and
WHEREAS, in order to cover the cost of the trailer, it will be necessary to transfer funds between budget lines.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Kaufman
Trailers for the purchase of a FP -8K -30D trailer at a price of $7,640.00 in accordance with attached
quote dated November 9, 2018;
2. The following budget transfer is hereby authorized to fund the purchase.

Payment for the aforementioned equipment shall be made by purchase orders and after receipt of the equipment
and approval of a voucher as required by Town Law.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
