Resolution To Authorize The Naming Of Private Road For Old Hopewell Commons Apartment Complex
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on October 15, 2019.
The meeting was called to order by Richard Thurston, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the
following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Beale and seconded by Councilwoman
Bettina.
WHEREAS, in order to comply with the Dutchess County Enhanced 9-1-1 Response Program, the Town must
name public and private roads within the Town; and
WHEREAS, the developer for the Myers Corners Landing Subdivision has submitted the name of several roads to
Dutchess County for approval for the private road for the Old Hopewell Commons apartment complex on Old
Hopewell Road; and
WHEREAS, the name LAURANT DRIVE has been approved by the developer and Dutchess County Real
Property Tax approved the name by email dated September 18, 2019;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Board hereby designates the private roadway located in the
Old Hopewell Commons apartment complex on Old Hopewell Road as Laurant Drive; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Clerk is directed to provide a copy of this resolution to the
Dutchess County Real Property Tax Services.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
