Resolution Auhtorizing Change Order No. 2 To Hilltop Well Installtion Contract
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on April 27, 2020.
The meeting was called to order by Richard Thurston, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the
following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Beale and seconded by Councilwoman
Bettina.
WHEREAS, by Resolution 2019-174, the Town Board awarded a contract for the Installation of Wells
at the Hilltop Well Field to Weston & Sampson CMR, Inc. of 49 Great Hill Road, Oxford, CT 06478 in the
amount of $335,473; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board approved Change Order No. 1 to the contract which increased the amount
of the contract by $115,740 to $451,213.00; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is proposed to modify the contract to provide Pitless Adapters for the
three wells and delete certain unnecessary tests in accordance with the attached CPL Change Order dated April
13, 2020; and
WHEREAS, proposed Change Order No. 2 results in an increased cost of $64,821.00 which results in a
new contract price of $516,034.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby approves Change Order No.
2, which increases the total contract price by the amount of $64,821.00, resulting in a new contract price of
$516,034.00 and authorizes the Supervisor to sign Change Order No. 2 on behalf of the Town; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the Town Comptroller is authorized to make contract payments in accordance with
this approved Change Order.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
