Resolution Acknowleding Appointment Of Deputy Town Supervisor To The Town Of
Wappinger
At a Reorganization Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess
County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on
January 11, 2021.
The meeting was called to order by Richard Thurston, Town Supervisor, and upon roll
being called, the following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Beale and seconded by Casella.
WHEREAS, the Town Supervisor is authorized to appoint a Deputy Town Supervisor;
and
WHEREAS, Richard L. Thurston, Supervisor of the Town of Wappinger, has elected to
appoint Kevin Hathorn as his Deputy Town Supervisor; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board acknowledges the appointment of Kevin
Hathorn as Deputy Town Supervisor by Richard L. Thurston, Supervisor of the Town of
Wappinger effective January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby confirms the salary of the
Deputy Town Supervisor as set forth in the 2021 adopted budget which is to be paid in 52
weekly installments retroactive to and commencing on January 1, 2021.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
