RESOLUTION: 2021-42 An Order Making Certain Determinations in Relation to and Approving the Establishment of Extension No. 10 (SAZ, LLC) to United Wappinger Water District of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, Pursuant to Article 12 of The Town Law An Order Making Certain Determinations in Relation to and Approving the Establishment of Extension No. 10 (SAZ, LLC) to United Wappinger Water District of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, Pursuant to Article 12 of The Town Law. These assets include equipment and vehicles, internal office systems and tools, but also more permanent assets such as roads, buildings, parking facilities, recreation, and natural areas, etc. With ownership, comes an obligation to maintain and continually improve these assets. The process used to determine how to invest Town resources to maintain Capital Improvement Plan. The CIP is a comprehensive listing and description of planned capital projects and cost estimates.Once a project is approved, funding streams are identified. Budgets are allocated to CIP projects and can stem from multiple streams including general funds, grants, bonds, etc. Once funding is identified, timelines are established for project execution.The projects are necessary to meet the goals and objectives of the Supervisor and Town Board.
