Resolution Authorizing The Naming Of Private Road For Cohen Subdivision
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on June 14,
2021.
The meeting was called to order by Richard Thurston, Town Supervisor, and upon roll
being called, the following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Beale and seconded by
Councilwoman Bettina.
WHEREAS, in order to comply with the Dutchess County Enhanced 9-1-1 Response
Program, the Town must name public and private roads within the Town; and
WHEREAS, the developer for the Cohen Subdivision has requested that the private drive
that addresses Lots 1, 2 and 3 within the Cohen Subdivision be named SUNSET COURT.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby names the
private drive that addresses Lots 1, 2 and 3 within the Cohen Subdivision as SUNSET COURT in
accordance with an email dated June 4, 2021 from Larry Brody of Dutchess County Department of
Emergency Response; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is directed to provide a copy of
this Resolution to the Dutchess County Department of Emergency Response.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
