Resolution Establishing Paid Holidays
At a Reorganization Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess
County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on
January 10, 2022.
The meeting was called to order by Richard Thurston, Town Supervisor, and upon roll
being called, the following was recorded:

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby establishes the paid holiday schedule
for calendar year 2022 as follows:
New Year’s Day January 1, 2022 (observed December 31, 2021)
Martin Luther King Day January 17, 2022
President’s Day February 21, 2022
Good Friday April 15, 2022
Memorial Day May 30, 2022
Independence Day July 4, 2022
Labor Day September 5, 2022
Columbus Day October 10, 2022
Election Day November 8, 2022
Veteran’s Day November 11, 2022
Thanksgiving Day November 24, 2022
Thanksgiving Day Friday November 25, 2022
Christmas Day December 25, 2022 (observed December 26)
Floating Holidays to be added at a later date given the new Juneteenth National Holiday
