2022-19 2022-19 Resolution Authorizing A Memorandum Of Agreement With Teamsters Union Local 445 For Deputy Zoning Administrator Compensation At a Reorganization Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on January 10, 2022. Beale Seconder     Defeated  Angela Bettina Voter     Tabled  Christopher Phillips Voter      Withdrawn Al Casella Mover     The following Resolution was introduced by Casella and seconded by Councilman Beale. WHEREAS, the Deputy Zoning Administrator has successfully passed the Civil Service test for the job title and may now be appointed permanently in the position; and WHEREAS, Deputy Zoning Administrator is part of the Collective Bargaining Unit represented by Teamsters Union Local 445 (the “Union”); and WHEREAS, the Town and the Teamsters wish to adjust the salary for a permanent Deputy Zoning Administrator Full time to be commensurate with duties of the job and other similar job titles; and WHEREAS, the Town and the Union have negotiated a Memorandum of Agreement which reflects appropriate compensation for the Deputy Zoning Administrator; and WHEREAS, the Union has agreed to the terms of the MOA and request that the Town Board also approve the MOA; WHEREAS, the Town Board agrees that the MOA is appropriate and should be approved; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: 1. The Town of Wappinger hereby approves the MOA dated January ___, 2022 attached hereto. 2. The Town Board hereby authorizes the Supervisor to execute the MOA on behalf of the Town and to deliver signed agreements to the Union. 3. The Supervisor is directed to provide a copy of the MOA signed by all the parties to the Town Clerk to maintain in his files with the other contracts with the Union. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately. The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows: RESULT: ADOPTED \[UNANIMOUS\] MOVER: Al Casella, Councilman SECONDER: William H.
