2022-22 2022-22 Resolution Acknowledging Appointment Of Confidential Personal Secretary To The Town Supervisor At a Reorganization Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on January 10, 2022. The meeting was called to order by Richard Thurston, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the following was recorded:  Vote Record - Resolution RES-2022-22 Yes/Aye No/Nay Abstain Absent Adopted  Richard Thurston Voter     Adopted as Amended  William H. Beale Seconder      Defeated Angela Bettina Voter     Tabled  Christopher Phillips Voter     Withdrawn  Al Casella Mover     The following Resolution was introduced by Casella and seconded by Councilman Beale. WHEREAS, the Town Supervisor is authorized to appoint a Confidential Personal Secretary; and WHEREAS, Supervisor Richard L. Thurston has elected to appoint Maria Giannos as his Confidential Personal Secretary; now, therefore BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board acknowledges the appointment by Supervisor Richard L. Thurston of Maria Giannos as the Confidential Personal Secretary to the Supervisor; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby confirms the salary of the Confidential Personal Secretary to the Supervisor as set forth in the 2022 adopted budget which salary is to be paid in 52 weekly installments retroactive to and commencing on January 1, 2022.
