2022-86 2022-86 Resolution Authorizing And Appropriating Matching Funds For Mid-Point Park Engineering Planning Study At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on April 11, 2022. WHEREAS, the Environmental Facilities Corporation awarded a $100,000 Engineering Planning Grant (EPG) to the Town of Wappinger for an engineering report to identify sources of inflow and infiltration in the Nlid- Point Park Sewer District, evaluate alternatives, and recommend improvements to the Town of Wappinger's wastewater collection system; and WHEREAS, the conditions of the EPG program require the Town of Wappinger to appropriate 20% matching funds for the project;now, therefore BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town of Wappinger Town Board authorizes and appropriates a minimum of 20% local match as required by the Engineering Planning Grant Program (EPG) for the Mid-Point Park I&I Study. Under the EPG program, this local match must be at least 20% of the EPG grant award of$100,000. The source of the local match, and any amount in excess of the required match, shall be funded through the unallocated fund balance of the Mid-Point Park Sewer District and the General Fund. The maximum local match shall not exceed $20,000 based upon a total estimated maximum project cost of$120,000. The Town Supervisor may increase this local match through the use of in-kind services without further approval from the Town of Wappinger Town Board; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is hereby directed to provide a certified copy of this Resolution to the Environmental Facilities Corporation as required by the EPG program.
