2022-105 2022-105 Resolution Approving Contract For Fence Installation At Quiet Acres And Rockingham Park At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on May 9, 2022. WHEREAS, the Supervisor of Buildings has solicited quotes for the installation at Quiet Acres Park and at Rockingham Park; and WHEREAS, the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds has obtained a quote from Adams Fences,Inc. for the fencing; and WHEREAS, the Town Board authorized a bond resolution for park improvements which shall be the source of funding. WHEREAS, the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds has reviewed the contract and agrees that it is appropriate for the Town to enter into a contract as outlined in the quote; NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that: 1. The Town Board hereby authorizes a contract with Adams Fencing,Inc. in the amount of$6,985 for Rockingham Park and $5,680 for Quiet Acres Park in accordance with the terms of the proposal attached hereto and directs the Supervisor to execute the contract documents on behalf of the Town of Wappinger; and 2. The Town Board hereby authorizes bond proceeds to be used for this project. 3. Payment for the repairs shall be made on vouchers duly submitted and approved.
