2022-148 2022-148 Resolution Appointing Senior Account Clerk Typist At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on October 11, 2022. WHEREAS,the Town of Wappinger has a need for a Senior Account Clerk Typist to assist in the Town Comptroller's office; and WHEREAS,the Dutchess County Department of Human Resources has established Job Class Specifications for the Civil Service Position of Senior Account Clerk Typist; and WHEREAS, the Dutchess County Department of Human Resources has given a competitive examination and created and certified to the Town of Wappinger a current list of eligible for the Title of Senior Account Clerk Typist; and WHEREAS,the Town Board has canvassed the certified eligible list for Senior Account Clerk Typist and has determined that Deana Schmitt appears on said list and is reachable; and WHEREAS,the Town Board has determined that Deana Schmitt meets the qualifications set forth in the job specification; and WHEREAS,the position of Senior Account Clerk Typist is funded in the Fiscal Year 2022 Town Budget; now, therefore BE IT RESOLVED,that the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger hereby appoints Deana Schmitt to the position of Senior Account Clerk Typist; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Deana Schmitt shall be paid an hourly rate of $28.29, which shall be paid out of budget line ; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the appointment of Deana Schmitt is subject to the approval of the Dutchess County Department of Human Resources and is further subject to Civil Service Law and the Rules of New York State and the Dutchess County Department of Human Resources.
