Resolution Authorizing Contract For Tennis Court Resurfacing
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on October 11, 2022.
The meeting was called to order by Richard Thurston, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the
following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Casella and seconded by Councilman Phillips.
WHEREAS, the there are six tennis courts at Martz Field which have deteriorated in condition and need to be
resurfaced; and
WHEREAS, the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds and the Engineers to the Town have investigated
several contractors who resurface tennis courts and received two quotes on cooperative purchase contracts so
competitive bidding is not required; and
WHEREAS, the Town has received a contract proposal from Crafco, Inc. in the amount of$58,696.00
in the form attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Engineers to the Town recommend that the Crafco, Inc. proposal be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The Town Board has reviewed the proposal of Crafco, Inc. and authorizes a cooperative purchase
contract with Crafco, Inc. in the amount of$58,696.00 and in accordance with the terms of the proposal
attached.
2. The Town Board hereby authorizes the Supervisor to execute the contract documents on behalf of the
Town.
3. Appropriation for this contract shall be made from Unallocated B Fund Balance and the Comptroller
shall amend the budget accordingly.
4. Payment shall be made upon vouchers reviewed and approved as required by law.
5. This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
