Resolution Authorizing The Supervisor to Sign a Letter of Intent for the Submission of the 2022
Community Development Block Grant Application
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on November 14, 2022.
The meeting was called to order by Richard Thurston, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilwoman Bettina and seconded by Councilman
Phillips.
Activity Title: Spook Hill Park ADA Improvements - Phase II
WHEREAS,the Town of Wappinger(hereinafter referred to as the Municipality)is participating in the 2022
Dutchess County Community Development Block Grant Consortium, and
WHEREAS, input from citizens and groups will be received and considered at a public hearing on November
29, 2022 at 6:oo PM, and
WHEREAS, an application has been prepared for the above referenced activity which addresses our
community concerns.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,that the submission of the application to the Dutchess County
Department of Planning and Development is authorized.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the Supervisor is authorized to sign a letter of intent subject to the
public hearing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that a Public Hearing is set for November 29, 2022 at 6:oo PM.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
