LOCAL LAW NO. 5,YEAR 1975
A Local Law Establishing Rates for The Central Wappinger Water Improvement
Area:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess
County, New York, ag follows:
Section 1. The following Water rates are hereby established for
the Central Wappinger Water Improvement Area:
A. Residential.
(1) Metered.
$.50 per hundred cubic feet.
$9.00 minimum per quarter.
(2) Non metered.
$12.75 flat rate per quarter.
B. Commercial, Institutional, Industrial.
Those customers using more than 25,000 gallons weekly shall
pay for water on the basis of a specific agreement with the Town
Board.
Those customers with special hydrants located upon their own
property or having a sprinkle system installed shall pay for water
in accordaace with a specific agreement with the Town Board.
Section 2. This loval law shall take effect upon adoption and as
provided in the Municipal Home Rule Law.
