LOCAL LAW NO.3, YEAR 1978
A LOCAL LAW PROHIBITING PARKING BY MOTOR VEHICLES IN DESIGNATED AREAS
FOR HANDICAPPED DRIVERS IN THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER.
BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger as follows:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any motor vehicle to park in
an area within the Town of Wappinger designated for handicapped
drivers unless such vehicle has and displays a parking permit for
a handicapped person duly authorized in the manner prescribed by
Vehcile and Traffic Law, Section 1203-a.
SECTION II. Violation of this local law shall be subject to a fine
not greater than $25.00.
