SECTION 1. Leqislative Intent.
It is the intention of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger
in the interest of the public health, welfare and safety of the
people of the Town of Wappinger to restrict parking on certain parts
of Regency Drive in the Town of Wappinger, so as to prevent any
obstruction to the normal and regular flow of traffic along
Regency Drive.
SECTION 2. Parking Restricted
There shall be No Parking along the most southerly, most
easterly and most northerly outer perimeter of Regency Drive in the
Town of Wappinger.
SECTION 3. Signs
The Highway Superintendent of the Town of Wappinger is hereby
directed to install appropriate signs indicating that there shall be
No Parking in the designated area.
SECTION 4. Violations
The owner of any vehicle is found to be parked in a "No Parking"
zone as enumerated above, shall be guilty of a violation and shall be
subject to a fine in a sum not to exceed $50.00.
SECTION 5. Effective Date
This Law shall take effect immediately upon the filing with
the Secretary of State of the State of New York.
