Resolution Terminating 2008 Seasonal Employees
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on
September 8, 2008.
The meeting was called to order by Christopher Colsey, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Bettina and seconded by
Councilman Beale.
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger Recreation Department employs certain
individuals on a seasonal basis as reflected in the 2008 Adopted Budget for the Town of
Wappinger; and,
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger Recreation Commissioner has been charged with
the oversight of the grounds; and,
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger Recreation Commissioner has proposed the
following termination dates for 2008:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board acknowledges and
authorizes the termination dates of the aforementioned seasonal employees.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes the use of two (2)
seasonal employees for the purpose of preparing Schlathaus Park for the annual Christmas Tree
Lighting event.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
