Resolution Authorizing the Revision of a Purchase Order for Recreation Department
Maintenance Equipment
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on
September 22, 2008.
The meeting was called to order by Christopher Colsey, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor

Joseph P. Paoloni
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilwoman McCarthy and seconded by
Supervisor Colsey.
WHEREAS, the Town Board approved the purchase of certain Highway Department and
recreation Department equipment through Resolution 2007-247, on November 26, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board approved, through the execution of a Purchase Order in
the amount of $15,963.75, for the purchase of a John Deere 1445 4 -Wheel drive mower, on June
27, 2008; and
WHEREAS, the State contract approved vendor failed to deliver the aforementioned
equipment claiming an error in the State Contract bid amount
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes the
Town of Wappinger Recreation Commissioner to submit a revised Purchase Order for the
formerly approved equipment, or a suitable substitution.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
