2003-228RESOLUTION NO. 2003-228 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BUDGET TRANSFERS At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall; 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on the 8th day of September, 2003, at 7:30 P.M. The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the following were present: PRESENT: Supervisor - Joseph Ruggiero Councilmen - Robert L. Valdati Vincent F. Bettina Joseph P. Paoloni Christopher J. Colsey ABSENT: The following Resolution was introduced by Mr. Colsev and seconded by Mr. Valdati WHEREAS, the Comptroller to the Town of Wappinger, Gerald A. Terwilliger, has recommended certain budget transfers hereby amending the Town budget as set forth in a letter dated September 4, 2003 from Gerald A. Terwilliger, Comptroller, to Supervisor and Town Board Members. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: 1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted herein. Document6 2. The Town Board hereby authorizes the following budget transfers hereby temporarily amending the Town of Wappinger Budget adopted for the calendar year of 2003: A) General Fund Budget Amendments Increase A1420.410 - Tax Attorney - $8,935.00 Increase A0599 — Appro. Fund Balance - $8,935.00 To cover Invoices submitted in 2003 for services performed on Tax matters for 2002 B) Highway Fund Budget Amendments Increase DB3501.000 — Consolidated Highway Aid - $104,536.38 Increase DB5112.400 — Improvement CHIPS Program - $104,536.38 For CHIPS Capital Program allocation notification received from NYS Department of Transpertation The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows: JOSEPH RUGGIERO, Supervisor Voting ROBERT L. PATAKI Governor August 11, 2003 The riext CHIPS Capital reimbursement is scheduled to be to be made on or about September 15, 2003, the second of four scheduled SFY 03-04 CHIPS Capital payments. On the back of this letter are instructions on applying for CHIPS Capital funds. The revised (6/03) CP73 Reimbursement Request Form and the instructions for completing this form were previously mailed to you in June and it was requested that you make copies of this revised form and its instructions for future quarterly payment requests. If your municipality did not make additional copies of the revised form and its instructions; you can now obtain this form via our CHIPS website (www.dot.state.nv.us/chins) or by contacting your Regional CHIPS Representative. Payment can only be made for work with a service life of ten years or more, to which you have certified on the form. Payment requests from SFY 03-04 funding for the September payment must only be for cash expenditures made on or after April 1, 2003 and through August 15, 2003 and for which reimbursement has not already been received. Requests which are incomplete or in error could delay receipt of your payment. The Town of Wappinger has a total CHIPS Capital balance of $104,536.38; this consists of a $104,536.38 SFY 03-04 CHIPS Capital apportionment balance and a $.00 CHIPS Capital cumulative rollover balance. In order to receive the September payment, the Town must ensure that the NYSDOT Regional Office receives the reimbursement request no later than August 22, 2003.
