2009-0172009-17 Resolution Authorizing the Issuance and Payments for Paydays of 2009 At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on January 5, 2009. The meeting was called to order by Christopher Colsey, Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the following were present: PRESENT: Supervisor Councilmembers ABSENT: Christopher J. Colsey William H. Beale Vincent F. Bettina Maureen McCarthy (arrived at 7:03 PM) Joseph P. Paoloni The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Beale and seconded by Councilman Bettina. BE IT RESOLVED, that the salaries of all persons holding either full time or part time positions as otherwise fixed for these designated positions shall be paid to the holders of such offices and positions payable every Friday throughout the year 2009, with 52 pay periods during such year, with the first payday to be January 2, 2009; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Bookkeeper of the Town of Wappinger be authorized to issue and pay the holders of these designated positions on such designated pay days of the year 2009; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Board directs the Town Accountant and Bookkeeper to initiate any and all necessary processes to transition from an external payroll firm to an internal function during the Fiscal year 2009, for implementation no later than January 1, 2010.
