RESOLUTION APPOINTING THE COMPTROLLER, AND RECEIVER OF
TAXES AND ASSESSMENT IN THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER
At the reorganization meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger,
Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls,
New York, on the 2nd day of January, 2003, at 7:30 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll
being called, the following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor - Joseph Ruggiero
Councilmen - Robert L. Valdati
Vincent F. Bettina
Joseph P. Paoloni
Christopher J. Colsey
ABSENT:
The following Resolution was introduced by Mr. c o 1 s ey and seconded by
Mr. Paoloni
WHEREAS, The Town Board of the Town of Wappinger wishes to appoint
Gerald Terwilliger as Town Comptroller, and Patricia Maupin as Receiver of Taxes and
Assesment for the Town of Wappinger,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Gerald Terwilliger is hereby appointed
to the office of Comptroller in the Town of Wappinger, to serve in such capacity for a
term ending on the 31 'c of day of December, 2003, and
BE IT RESOLVED, that Patricia Maupin be and she hereby is appointed to the
office of Receiver of Taxes and Assessments in the Town of Wappinger, to serve in such
capacity for a term ending on the 31't day of December, 2003, and
BE IT FURTHERRESOLVED, that the Comptroller be paid an
annual salary of $50,027.00 payable every Friday throughout the year 2003, with the first
payday to be January 3, 2003, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Receiver of Taxes and Assessments be
paid an annual salary of $ 42,773.00, payable every Friday throughout the year 2002,
with the first payday to be January 3, 2003, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Receiver of Taxes and Assessments be
and she hereby is authorized to employ such clerical employees as may be necessary for
the performance of her duties and to compensate such clerical employees up to the
prevailing maximum hourly rate.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
