RESOLUTION APPOINTING THE CHIEF COURT CLERK, DEPUTY COURT
CLERK, AND CLERK TO THE JUSTICE FOR THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER,
AND ESTABLISHING SALARIIES FOR SAID POSITIONS
At the reorganization meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger,
Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls,
New York, on the 2nd day of January, 2003, at 7:30 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll
being called, the following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor - Joseph Ruggiero
Councilmen - Robert L. Valdati
Vincent F. Bettina
Joseph P. Paoloni
Christopher J. Colsey
ABSENT:
The following Resolution was introduced by Mr. Co 1 s ey and seconded by
Mr_ PAn7 Anl
WHEREAS, Cheryl Hait is hereby appointed to serve as Chief Court Clerk for
the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, and
WHEREAS, Linda Walters is hereby appointed to serve in the position of
Deputy Court Clerk to the Justices for the Town of Wappinger Justice Court, and
WHEREAS, Yvonne Lawrence is hereby appointed to serve as the Clerk to the
Justice for the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the annual salary for Cheryl Hait, the
Chief Court Clerk of the Town of Wappinger is hereby fixed and established at the
annual rate of $ 41,729.00, to be paid every Friday throughout the year 2003, with the
first payday to be January 3, 2003.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the annual salary of the Linda Walters,
Deputy Court Clerk to the Justices in the Town of Wappinger is hereby fixed and
established at the annual rate of $ 31,999.00, to be paid every Friday throughout the year
2003, with the first payday to be January 3, 2003,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the annual salary for Yvonne Lawrence,
Clerk to the Justice in the Town of Wappinger be hereby fixed and established at the
annual rate of $ 27,823.00, to be paid every Friday throughout the year 2003, with the
first pay day to be January 3, 2003.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
