HOLT RE: CHECK LIMIT WAIVER SUPERVISOR CHRISTOPHER J. COLSEY TOWN COUNCIL WILLIAM H. BEALE VINCENT BETTINA MAUREEN McCARTHY JOSEPH P. PAOLONI Supervisor Cffice APR 2 7 2009 Received Our camp registration is approaching quickly. The Town Clerk has informed us that the limit for a personal check is $300.00. With the new raised rates and the instances where a family may be registering three (3) or four (4) children, especially if they will be using our extended hours, the check may very well be over that amount. Checks are always processed within a week of their collection and if they were to bounce we simply would not allow the children to attend camp until the penalty is paid and the proper monies have been collected. We ask for your approval in this matter. If so, would you please contact the Town Clerk with your decision. Thank You, C Ralph J. Holt RJH:eam
