Appointing a Member to the Town of Wappinger Planning Board
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on May 11,
2009.
The meeting was called to order by Christopher Colsey, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:

Maureen McCarthy (arrived at 7:08 PM)
Joseph P. Paoloni
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilwoman McCarthy and seconded by
Councilman Paoloni.
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists in the Town of Wappinger Planning Board due to the
expired term of Marsha Leed; and
WHEREAS, Marsha Leed has consistently contributed to the deliberations of the Board,
maintained her mandated level of annual continuing education, and achieved satisfactory
attendance since her appointment to an un -expired term in 2007.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Marsha Leed is hereby appointed to
the Town of Wappinger Planning Board to fulfill the expired term through January 1, 2016.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:

Dear Barbara:
As you know, my Planning Board appointment expired in December, 2008. Even though
I have not been reappointed, for the past four months I have continued to review projects
and attend meetings at the request of the Planning Board Chairman and the Town
Attorney so that the Board will be assured of a quorum and can proceed with their work.
I would like to notify you at this time that I will not be attending any more Planning
Board meetings until this situation gets resolved.
I hope that I will be reappointed to the Planning Board since it has been a pleasure to
serve the Town of Wappinger these past two years. I wish the Town Board well with
whatever decision they reach.
