SNOWDEN, being duly sworn, deposes and says: That she is the duly elected, qualified and acting Town Clerk of the Town of Wappinger, County of Dutchess and State of New York, and that she did on June 12, 1969, post a copy of the attached Ordinance Establishing Portions of Wildwood Drive as One Way Roadways, which was duly adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger on the 9th day of June, 1969, on the signboard maintained by your deponent in her office in the Town Hall of the Town of Wappinger, Mill Street, in the Village of Wappingers Falls, Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, pursuant to Subdivision 6 of Section 30 of Town Law, and that said copy of such Ordinance has remained so posted from said June 12th 1969 through and including June 22nd, 1969. MGN TROSS �1 NOTARY PUBLIC, STATE OF NEW YORK RESIDING IN DUTCHESS COUNTY y COMMISSION EXPIRES MARCH 30,10.7x0 PLEASE TAPE NQTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger will conduct a public hearing at the Town Hall, Mill Street, Wappingers Falls, New York, on June 9, 1969 at 7:30 o'clock P.M. to hear all persons concerning an Ordinance Establishing Portions of Wildwood Drive as One Way Roadways. AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING PORTIONS OF WILDWOOD DRIVE AS ONE WAY ROADWAYS The following Ordinance was introduced by Councilman Mills who moved its adoption: WHEREAS, Wildwood Drive in the Town of Wappinger IS divided into two roadways, each such roadway being approximately 15 feet in width and each roadway being separated by a 20 foot grassed area or an open ditch, and WHEREAS, each such single roadway is not sufficient for two way traffic, NOW THEREFORE, Be it enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger as follows: Section 1. The southerly lane or roadway of Wildwood Drive between New Hackensack Road and Widmer Road is hereby designated as one way east and vehicular traffic is prohibited from traveling thereon except in an easterly direction from New Hackensack Road to Widmer Road. Section 2. The northerly lane or roadway of Wi:Ldwood `I Drive between New Hackensack Road and Widmer Road is hereby designated as one way west and vehicular traffic is hereby prohibited from traveling thereon except in a westerly direction from Widmer Road to New Hackensack Road. Section 3. Any violation of this ordinance shall be a traffic infraction as defined in Section 155 of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law and the proceeding shall be conducted in accordance with Section 155 of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law and the penalties upon conviction of a violation of this ordinance shall be as Rzescribed in Section 1800 B of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law. 2 Section 4. This ordinance shall tike effect immediately upon posting and publication as provided by law.
