2002-142r RESOLUTION NO. 2002- l ud RESOLUTION APPOINTING RECREATION DIRECTOR The following Resolution was introduced by Mr. Paoloni Mr. Colsey and seconded by WHEREAS, the Recreation Director for the Town of Wappinger, Steve Lowery, resigned as of April 1, 2002; and WHEREAS, the Recreation Committee interviewed numerous applicants for the position; and WHEREAS, the Town Board interviewed the top three (3) candidates recommended by the Recreation Committee. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Board wishes to appoint Cyril. J. "Skip" Rottkamp of 57 DeGarmo Hills Road, Wappingers Falls, New York to the permanent part-time position of Recreation Director to the Town of Wappinger Recreation Committee at the annual salary of Twelve Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($12,500.00). During my tenure as the Wappingers Central School District Interscholastic Athletic Coordinator, I enjoyed working with the staff of the Recreation Department and found them to be highly motivated, helpful and friendly. I am enthusiastic about utilizing the knowledge, skills and experience I have developed over the years to benefit the Town's recreation programs.
