A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was held on
December 5, 2005, at the Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls,
New York. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss Absolute Properties.
Supervisor Ruggiero opened the meeting at 7:34 pm.
Present:
Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor
Maureen McCarthy, Councilwoman
Joseph Paoloni, Councilman
Vincent Bettina, Councilman (arrived 7:41 p.m.)
John C. Masterson, Town Clerk
Others Present:
Emanuel Saris, Attorney
Al Roberts, Attorney to the Town
Absent:
Robert Valdati, Councilman
At this time, 7:39 p.m., Councilwoman McCarthy moved to go into Executive
Session, seconded by Councilman Paoloni and unanimously carried.
The meeting reconvened at 8:24 p.m. with all board members in attendance
except Councilman Valdati.
Councilman Paoloni made a motion to authorize Attorney to the Town, Al
Roberts, to appeal the O'Mara vs The Town of Wappinger case, and take
whatever steps are necessary to institute a stay in this process, seconded by
Councilwoman McCarthy and unanimously carried.
There was no further business to come before the Town Board
Councilman Bettina moved to close the Special Meeting, seconded by
Councilwoman McCarthy and unanimously carried.
The meeting closed at 8:26 p.m.
