Resolution Authorizing Town of Wappinger Code Enforcement Personnel to Attend Green
Building Educational Conference in Ulster County, New York
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New
York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on August 10, 2009.
The meeting was called to order by Christopher Colsey, Supervisor, and upon roll being called,
the following were present:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Paoloni and seconded by
Councilwoman McCarthy.
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger employs NYS Certified Code Enforcement Officers for the
purposes of zoning, building, and related matters of compliance;
WHEREAS, in accordance with the statutes, as promulgated by the State of New York, each
Certified Code Enforcement Officer must annually gain twenty-four (24) hours of training;
WHEREAS, the NYS Secretary of State, Division of Code Enforcement Educational Services is
offering six (6) hours of training on September 3, 2009, in Port Ewen, New York, at no cost on the topic
of Green Building Practices; and
WHEREAS, NYS Certified Code Enforcement Officer Sal Morello has requested the authority
to attend this training seminar.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger
hereby authorizes Sal Morello of the Office of Code Enforcement to attend the Green Building Practices
seminar to be held September 3, 2009, in Port Ewen, New York.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
