A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was held on
June 6, 2005, at the Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New
York. Supervisor Ruggiero opened the meeting at 7:30 p.m. The purpose of
the Special Meeting is to appoint a Town Clerk and Registrar of Vital
Statistics for the Town of Wappinger

RESOLUTION NO. 2005-076
RESOLUTION APPOINTING TOWN CLERK
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Paoloni and
seconded by Councilwoman McCarthy.
WHEREAS, there was a vacancy in the position of Town of Wappinger Town
Clerk with the retirement of Gloria Morse, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to fill the vacancy of Town Clerk, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has determined that John Christian Masterson
is qualified to fill the position.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that John Christian Masterson is hereby
appointed Town Clerk of the Town of Wappinger.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:

RESOLUTION APPOINTING A REGISTRAR OF VITAL STATISTICS
FOR THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilwoman McCarthy and
seconded by Councilman Paoloni.

WHEREAS, there was a vacancy in the position of Town of Wappinger
Registrar of Vital Statistics with retirement of Gloria Morse.
BE IT RESOLVED, that John Christian Masterson is hereby appointed to
serve as Registrar of Vital Statistics to the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess
County, New York, for a term commencing June 7, 2005, and ending
December 31, 2005, pursuant to Section 4123, Public Health Law, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said Registrar of Vital Statistics to the
Town of Wappinger shall receive no salary or compensation, however, he
shall be entitled to receive for the performance of the duties of this respective
office the fees fixed by applicable statute.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:

Councilman Paoloni moved to close the Special Meeting, seconded by
Councilwoman McCarthy and unanimously carried.
The meeting adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
