A Public Hearing was held by the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger on
November 13, 2002 at the Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers
Falls, New York on the Benefit Assessment for the Fleetwood Water District,
Fleetwood Sewer District, Wildwood Sewer District, Watch Hill Sewer
District, Tall Trees Water Improvement and Watch Hill Water District
Supervisor Ruggiero opened the Meeting at 7:45 p.m.

Christopher Colsey, Councilman

Others Present:
Al Roberts, Attorney to the Town
Jay Paggi, Engineer to the Town
The Town Clerk offered for the record the Affidavits of Posting and
Publication duly signed and notarized. (These Affidavits are attached hereto
and made part thereof the Minutes of the Meeting).
Supervisor Ruggiero announced that notices had been sent out to the
residents listing the District Capital costs and the proposed Operation and
Maintenance costs for each of the districts in the Town of Wappinger. The
bills were customized to each resident detailing their particular parcel and
what districts they fell into. The letters showed the 2002 rate and the
proposed 2003 rate that would appear in their January property tax bill.
Jay Paggi, Engineer to the Town read the Capital Charges first.
FLEETWOOD WATER DISTRICT -2002 Benefit Unit was $188.23 the 2003
Benefit Unit would be $183.71.
FLEETWOOD SEWER DISTRICT 2002 Benefit Unit charge was $8.25 the
2003 Benefit Unit would be —0-.
WILDWOOD SEWER DISTRICT -2002 Benefit Unit charge was $51.43 the
2003 Benefit Unit would be $43.74.
WATCH HILL SEWER DISTRICT 2002 Benefit Unit charge was $48.33 the
2003 would be $48.11.
TALL TREES WATER IMPROVEMENT 2002 Benefit Unit charge was
$28.09 the 2003 would be $26.02.
WATCH HILL WATER DISTRICT has no charge
The Operation and Maintenance Charges are as follows:
FLEETWOOD WATER DISTRICT O & M charge for 2002 was $48.40
minimum for the first 14,143 gallons over the minimum is an additional
$2.50 per thousand gallons. The 2003 would be the same.

FLEETWOOD SEWER 0 & M charge for 2002 was $100 minimum for the
first 17,186 gallons and each addition gallon over the minimum is $3.00 per
thousand gallons. The 2003 charge would be the same.
WILDWOOD SEWER DISTRICT 0 & M charge for 2002 was a flat rate of
$85.00 per quarter. The 2003 charge would be the same.
WATCH HILL SEWER DISTRICT 0& M charge for 2002 was $3.45 per one
hundred cubic feet and if there is no reading its $34.50 minimum per Town of
Fishkill Town Board. The 2003 charge would be the same.
TALL TREES WATER IMPROVEMENT 0 & M charge for 2002 is a flat rate
of $85.00 per quarter. The 2003 charge would be the same.
WATCH HILL WATER DISTRICT 0 & M charge for 2002 is $45.00
minimum for the first twenty-five hundred cubic feet and over twenty-five
hundred cubic feet is an additional $1.40 per one hundred cubic feet.
There were no questions or comments from the audience.
Councilman Bettina moved to close the Public Hearing, seconded by
Councilman Valdati and unanimously carried.
The Public Hearing closed at 7:50 p.m.
