RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING COMPLETION CHANGE ORDER NO. 2
FOR 99-2R CONTRACT NO. 6
At the regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess
County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New
York, on the 10th day of November, 2003, at 7:30 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll
being called, the following were present:

The following Resolution was introduced by Mr. Colsey and seconded by
WHEREAS, the Engineers to the Town, Paggi, Martin & Del Bene have
approved Completion Change Order No. 2 for Wappinger Water Improvement Area -
1999 -2R as per a letter dated October 15, 2003, a copy of which is attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth ate incorporated in this Resolution as if
fully set forth and adopted herein.
2. The Town Board hereby approves completion change order No. 2 dated
November 5, 2003 to Wappinger Water Improvement Area -1999-2R,
Contract No. 6 between the Town and Grant Street Construction in the
amount of Eight Thousand, Five Hundred and 00/100 ($8,500.00) for the
reasons set forth in the letter dated November 5, 2003 from Charles
DelBene of Paggi, Martin & DelBene to the Town Board.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:

Dear Supervisor Ruggiero:
Enclosed please find a copy of Change Order No. 2 for the above referenced contract. This
Change Order is requesting authorization to increase the estimated quantities contained in the
Contract for additional run -of -bank gravel anal foundation stone.
The reason for this request is the numerous road crossings through W-ddwood and Widmer Road
where unsuitable soils were excavated from the pipe trench. This material could not be used to
backfill the trench in the road arms. Subsequently, run -off --bank gravel is used in its place.
Additional foundation stone is requested due to the large wet areas, which will be encountered
through the Cranberry easement as well as the Zammiello easement.
Our request for additional, materials is as follows:
• Item 6.01 -Foundation Stone (AOBE): 200 C.Y, additional @ 20/C.Y. _ $4,000.00
• Item 7.01 -Run -of -Bank Gravel (AOBE): 300 C.Y. addition @ $15.00/CY = 54,500.00
Please be advised that this additional material is measured when ordered by the Engineer, and
these additional quantities may or may not be used. All additional material not incorporated into
the project will not be paid for.

The stars were shining bright that afternoon

While conway's 29 yards cinched the score to 31 because
His first 39 -yards out of bounds was out of reach.
Tiki Barber's rush, as usual, led to the
game -winning OT field goal.
The stars kindled brightly into the late afternoon
