2004-107RESOLUTION NO. 2004- -) -7 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DUTCHESS COUNTY TO SERVE AS LEAD AGENCY At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on the 23rd day of February, 2004, at 7:30 P.M. The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the following were present: PRESENT: Supervisor - Joseph Ruggiero Council Members - Robert L. Paoloni Maureen McCarthy ASSENT: Vincent Bettina The following Resolution was introduced by MS - McCarthy and seconded by Mr. Paoloni WHEREAS, the Dutchess County Legislature has proposed a Local Law to revise the boundaries of the Poughkeepsie/Dutchess Empire (formerly Economic Development) Zone; and WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger is an Interested Party inasmuch as the revised zone boundaries will affect properties within the Town of Wappinger; and WHEREAS, the Dutchess County Legislature has made a determination that Dutchess County is the most appropriate agency to conduct the State Environment Quality Review (SEQRA) of this boundary revision; and WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger consents to Dutchess County serving as Lead Agency in this project. \\Vsrp03\Common\Wappinger\Town Board\RESOLUTION\Empire Zone - DC Lead Agency.doc NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: 1. A copy of Part I of the Full Environmental Assessment Form, which was prepared by the Dutchess County Department of Planning and Development in conjunction with the Poughkeepsie/Dutchess Empire Zone, and attached to that resolution, is enclosed. It identifies Town of Wappinger as an involved agency. Also enclosed are a copy of the proposed Local Law revising the boundaries of the Empire Zone, which has been laid on the desks of County Legislators, and a copy of the resolution setting a Dutchess public hearing in this matter for March 8th.
