RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FIRE INSPECTOR AND DEPUTY ZONING
ADMP41STRATOR TO ATTEND A TRAINING CLASS
At the regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess
County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New
York, on September 13'h, 2004 at 7:30 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll
being called, the following were present:

The following Resolution was introduced by Mr. B e t t ina and seconded
by Ms. McCarthy
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to authorize Mark Liebermann, Fire
Inspector and Susan Dao, Deputy Zoning Administrator, to attend the Capital District
Building Officials Educational Conference on October 18,19, 20, 2004 in Albany, New
York.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Mark Liebermann, Fire
Inspector and Susan Dao, Deputy Zoning Administrator, is hereby authorized to attend
the Capital District Building Officials Educational Conference on October 18, 19, 20,
2004 in Albany, New York, at a cost not to exceed seven hundred nineteen dollars and
no 00/100 ($719.00) .
The foregoing was put to a vote, which resulted as follows:

Subject: CAPITAL DISTRICT EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE
Permission is requested to attend the Capital District Educational Conference that is
being held at the Holiday Inn Turf on Wolf Road in Albany ,NY on October 18th, 19th, and
20th 2004.
This conference offers credits towards the annual requirement of 24 hrs in service
training.
The cost is as follows:
Conference registration for three days $245.00
Hotel registration three days 294.0
Per Diem 180.00
Total expense 719.00

Dear Building and Fire Officials, NYSBOC Members and Friends,
It is with great pleasure that I am writing to invite you to the Twelfth Annual Capital
District Building OffieWn Education Conference. The conference will again be held at the
Holiday Inn Turf on Wolf Road in Colonic. The dates for the conference are October 18,19 &
20 with early registration and hospitality on Sunday the 17th. The cost for the entire three days
is $245.00 or $110.00 for a single day. The cost covers breaks, lunch and dinner on Monday
and entertainment on Tuesday and all study materials as provided by the instructors.
Those of you who have attended in the past are aware of what an ideal education setting
the Holiday Inn provides for us and how. informative our seminars me. For those who have not
previously attended, you will find excellent food and accommodations and the absolute best in
learning atmosphere and opportunity.
'Enclosed you will find reservation forms for the school and for the hotel. Please
detach / copy than and send your reservations in as soon as possible. Also enclosed are the
tentative Conference topics that outline the classes offered. All the courses have been designed
to help building and fire officials and design professionals in their daily jobs. They also meet
the requirements necessary for in-service training as prescribed by Title 19NYCRR.
The Conference this year will include topics such as Code Updates, Kitchen Suppres-
sion Systems, Plan Review, Legal, Hydrogen Fuel Cells And Fire Suppression
On Tuesday we will travel to the Fire Training Center for some live demonstrations.

I am requesting to attend three days of educational classes given by The Capital District
Building Officials in Albany. The dates are October 18th, 19th, and 20th of 2004. I would receive 20
hours of in-service credit of the 24 hours that is required. This would fulfill the requirement to retain
my certification as a New York State Code Enforcement Official for the year.
Tatiana Lukianoff approves of my attending these classes.
