RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION OF THE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER AND THE COUNTY OF DUTCHESS
The following Resolution was introduced by Mr.yaldati and seconded by
Mr.Paoloni
WHEREAS, the Town entered into an Agreement with the County dated February 9,
1998 (County Contract No. 98 -0129 -12/98 -OA) providing a joint service transportation system
for senior citizens and handicapped individuals; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement has been amended and extended from time to time; and
WHEREAS, the Town desires to extend the term of said Agreement for an additional
period of one (1) year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby accepts the
terms and conditions set forth and contained in the Extension Agreement dated
2002, by and between the County of Dutchess and the Town of Wappinger, for providing a joint
service transportation system for senior citizens and handicapped individuals.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Supervisor of the Town is hereby directed and
authorized to execute the Extension Agreement a copy of which is affixed hereto by and on
behalf of the Town of Wappinger.
