RESOLUTION TO REVIEW PROCEDURES AND BIDDING LIMITS FOR
COMMODITIES AND PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS PURCHASING
PROCEDURES FOR THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER
At the regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess
County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New
York, on the 5th day of January, 2004, at 7:30 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll
being called, the following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor - Joseph Ruggiero
Councilmember- Robert L. Valdati
Vincent F. Bettina
Joseph P. Paoloni
Maureen McCarthy
ABSENT:
The following Resolution was introduced by Mr. Paoloni and seconded by
Ms. McCarthy
WHEREAS, Pursuant to subdivision 104-b of the General Municipal Law the
Town adopted a Procurement Policy establishing purchasing procedures and bidding
limits for commodities and Public Works projects.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town's Procurement Policy is hereby referred to a
Town Board Workshop for further review and study and the Procurement Policy as set
forth in Chapter 46 of the Code of the Town of Wappinger shall remain in full force and
effect until further action by the Town Board.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
