II. Pledge of Allegiance III. Public Comments Supervisor Colsey permitted Joseph Ruggiero, a representative from the New York State Comptroller's Office, to address the Board. Mr. Ruggiero commented on a memo, dated September 1St, that the State Comptroller's Office had sent out to all municipalities. There was also a follow up memo dated October 1St Supervisor Colsey then noted that he had a statement that was faxed in by Councilwoman McCarthy. He read the letter aloud. Discussion followed. Councilman Beale again noted for the record that Councilman Bettina is in New York City with his father, who is having a medical procedure. He noted that he has adjusted his work schedule significantly to try to accommodate the Budget deadline. He would hope that the other Members of the Board would do the same. .. Supervisor Colsey noted that Councilwoman McCarthy phoned in at 10:45 this morning to say that she was at work. He then commented on one of the lines of Councilwoman McCarthy's statement that said, "They've called meetings in the last week without consulting the entire Board." Supervisor Colsey noted that the majority of Meetings that have been held were voted on and scheduled by the Town Board by Resolution. The Special Town Board Meetings that have been called were called in accordance with the Rules of the Town Board. He clarified that, while he is not required to check the schedule of each individual Councilperson prior to calling a Special Town Board Meeting, he has done so for the majority of the Special Town Board Meetings that he has called. Councilman Beale commented that he has made himself available right up until the deadline of midnight in the hopes of being able to reach a quorum. Mary Schmalz noted that she has had perfect attendance for all of the Budget Meetings. Supervisor Colsey adjourned the Meeting until 10:00 on November 20th, 2009. IV.
