A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was held on
March 27, 1998 at the Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls,
New York. Supervisor Smith called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

The Supervisor scheduled the Special Meeting for March 27, 1998 for the
sole purpose to award the bid for the Town Recycling Bulk Pickup for 1998.
The bids were opened on March 27, 1998. Only one bid was received, and
the Highway Superintendent recommends we award the bid to Royal Carting
Service.
PROPOSAL
1. METAL - $98.75 @ PULL/$0.00 DISPOSAL
TIRES - $117.00 TON PASSENGER CARS/ $97.50 @ PULL
2. TRUCK & DRIVER - $78.50/HR - HELPER - $24.10 HR.
3. $65.00/TON - $98.75 @ PULL
4. TIRES (PASSENGER CARS) $117.00/TON - $97.50 @ PULL

COUNCILMAN RUGGIERO moved to award the bid for the Bulk Pickup to
Royal Carting, they being the only bid.
Seconded by Mr. Paoloni
Motion Unanimously Carried
COUNCILMAN RUGGIERO moved to close the Town Board Meeting,
seconded by Mr. Paoloni and unanimously carried.
The Special Meeting closed at 6:07 p.m.
