THE UNDERSIGNED, BEING ALL OF THE MEMBERS OF THE TOWN BOARD OF THE
TOWN OF WAPPINGER, DUTCHESS COUNTY, NEW YORK DO HEREBY WAIVE NOTICE OF
THE TIME AND PLACE OF THE HOLDING OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF SAID TOWN
BOARD, AND DO HEREBY AGREE AND CONSENT THAT THE SAME BE HELD ON THE
13th DAY OF OCTOBER, 1994, AT 6:30 O'CLOCK IN THE AFTERNOON OF THAT
DAY AT THE TOWN HALL OF THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER 20 MIDDLEBUSH ROAD,
TOWN OF WAPPINGER, DUTCHESS COUNTY, NEW YORK, FOR THE TRANSACTION OF
ALL BUSINESS WHICH MAY PROPERLY COME BEFORE THE MEETING OR ANY

A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was
held on October 13, 1994 at the Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road
Wappingers Falls, New York.
SUPERVISOR SMITH called the meeting to order at 6:31 P.M.
Present:
Constance Smith, Supervisor
Joseph Ruggiero, Councilman
Robert Valdati, Councilman
Joseph Incoronato, Councilman

The Supervisor called a Special Town Board Meeting for Thursday
October 13, 1994 at 6:31 P.M. for the purpose to vote on a
Resolution authorizing the submission of the Fiscal year 1994
Dutchess County Community Development Block Grant Program for
Recaptured Funds for the construction of rest rooms with
handicapped accessibility at the Castle Point Recreation Area.
A Public Hearing, having been held on September 26, 1994 to
apply for Recaptured funds from the 1991/1992 Community
Development Block Grant Program, the matter was now placed
before the Board for their consideration.
The following Resolution was offered by COUNCILWOMAN VISCONTI
who moved its adoption and seconded by Mr. Incoronato.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF
THE FISCAL YEAR 1994 DUTCHESS COUNTY
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM APPLICATION
FOR RECAPTURED FUNDS
PROJECT: Castle Point Rest Rooms with Handicapped Accessibility
at Castle Point Recreation Area.
WHEREAS, the town of Wappinger is participating in the
Dutchess County Community Development Consortium for Fiscal Year
1994, and
WHEREAS, input from citizens and groups has been received
and considered, and
WHEREAS, an application has been prepared which addresses
our community concerns.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Dutchess County
Community Development Consortium Fiscal Year 1994 application
for recaptured funds for the Town of Wappinger including the
certifications included therein by and hereby is approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the submission of said
application to the Dutchess County Department of Planning and

Development be and hereby is authorized.
