A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was
held on December 3, 1993 at the Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road,
Wappingers Falls, New York.
This meeting was scheduled by Supervisor Smith on November 29,
1993 for the sole purpose of enumerating several projects the
Town wishes to apply for Consortium Grants, and set a date for a
Public Hearing in order to receive input from the public on
these and any others that may be suggested at the time of the
Hearing.
Notice of said Special Meeting was sent to the Town Board
members, the two Newspapers and three Radio stations on November
11, 1993.
Supervisor Smith called the meeting to order at 4:06 P.M.
Present:
Constance Smith, Supervisor
Robert Valdalti, Councilman
June Visconti, Councilwoman
Elaine Snowden, Town Clerk
Absent:
James Mills, Jr. Councilman
Robert Wallace, Jr. Councilman
Supervisor Smith itemized the proposed intended uses being
considered for application as follows:
1) Fencing at Recreation Sites
a) Airport Park
b) Montfort Road
c) Martz Field
2) Castle Point restroom facility with handicapped
accessibility at Castle Point recreation site.
3) Castle Point recreation site install well and water
connection.
4) Town of Wappinger Central Municipal Water Line, Route 9 and
Route 9D crossing.
5) Highway interconnection water line.

6) Senior Citizen Facility - furniture
Reimbursement of cost overage
COUNCILMAN VALDATI moved to schedule a Public Hearing for
December 13, 1993 at 7:00 P.M. for receiving recommendations for
the use of Community Development Grant funds from any interested
person or persons.
Seconded by Mrs. Visconti
Motion Unanimously Carried
There being no other business to come before the Board,
COUNCILWOMAN VISCONTI moved to adjourn the meeting.
Seconded by Mr. Valdati
Motion Unanimously Carried
The Special Meeting adjourned at 4:11 P.M.
