A Public Hearing was held by the Town Board of The Town of
Wappinger on November 4, 1993 at the Town Hall, 20 Middlebush
Road, Wappingers Falls, New York on the 1994 Town of Wappinger
Budget.
Supervisor Smith opened the Meeting at 7:00 P.M.
Present:
Constance 0. Smith, Supervisor
James Mills, Councilman
June Visconti, Councilwoman
Robert Valdati, Councilman
Elaine H. Snowden, Town Clerk
Absent:
Robert Wallace, Councilman
The Town Clerk offered for the record the Affidavits of Posting
and Publication duly signed and notarized. (These Affidavits
are attached hereto and made part thereof of the Minutes of this
Meeting).
Supervisor Smith asked if there were any comments or questions
from the audience.
There was a question regarding the funds to maintain Fieldstone
Boulevard and Kendall Farms. Mr. Incoronato commented that when
he was in office two years ago, the Town had Two part time
maintenance men, and now there is one Full time, and one Part
time, and despite this addition, we are having to pay to get the
grass cut.
Mrs. Smith remarked that the Highway Department did not have the
time to maintain these areas, and the Recreation Department is
doing it. She looked into buying a lawnmower, but it was too
expensive. It was cheaper to have it done.
There were no other questions or comments from the Audience.
Mrs. Visconti moved to close the public Hearing, seconded by
Mr. Valdati and unanimously carried out.
The Hearing closed at 7:07 P.M.
